Emmbi Polyarns witnesses 293 bulk deals on listing day

Emmbi Polyarns witnessed 392 bulk deals on debut day of listing. Out of the total deals, 203 deals were witnessed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) while 189 deals were seen on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Most of the deals were made on intra-day basis.

Shares of Emmbi Polyarns tumbled on debut and closed over 37% lower against issue price of Rs 45.

On the NSE, the scrip ended at Rs 28.20, down Rs 16.80, or 37.33%. It touched a low of Rs 26.65 and high of Rs 48.30 in today`s trade.

On the BSE, the stock closed at Rs 28.65, down Rs 16.95, or 37.33%. It touched intraday low of Rs 26.50 and high of Rs 48.35.

Emmbi Polyarns is engaged in manufacture of woven polyethylene, polypropylene products, jumbo bags and woven sacks. It plans to raise its capacity to 17,800 TPA at an estimated cost Rs 360 million.
