Asian stocks trade positive


Asian stocks gained, driving the MSCI Asia Pacific Index up the most since November, after a smaller-than-estimated increase in US consumer prices eased concern the Federal Reserve will increase interest rates.

Japanese benchmark index Nikkei 225 rose 286.43 points, or 2.83%, to trade at 10,410.01. Hong Kong`s is trading advanced 513.82 points, or 2.58%, at. 20,407.84. China`s Shanghai Composite decreased 12.50 points, or 0.41% to trade at 3,005.63.

Taiwan`s Taiex index advanced 167.99 points, or 2.26%, to trade at 7,609.83. South Korea`s Kospi index rose 32.05 points, or 2.01% to trade at 1,625.95. Singapore`s Straits Times index increased 7.78 points, or to 0.28% trade at 2,764.92. (07.35 a.m., IST)
