Nifty December 2010 futures at premium

Turnover plunges

Nifty December 2010 futures were at 5,996.75, at a premium of 16.75 points over spot closing of 5,980. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment plunged to Rs 87,669.53 crore from Rs 109438.29 crore on Wednesday, 22 December 2010.



Tata Steel December 2010 futures were at premium at 663.75 compared with spot closing of 662.

Tata Motors December 2010 futures were at discount at 1,349 compared with spot closing of 1,351.

Reliance Industries December 2010 futures were near spot closing price at 1,061.80 compared with spot closing of 1,061.25.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty shed 4.40 points or 0.07% to settle at 5,980.
