Nifty September 2007 futures at sharp discount


Turnover slips

The Nifty September 2007 futures settled at 4350, a sharp discount of 62.30 points as compared to spot closing of 4,412.30. August 2007 futures & options (F&O) contracts expired today.

The NSE’s F&O turnover slipped to Rs 71,282.94 crore as compared to Rs 76,510.22 crore yesterday, 29 August 2007.

GMR Infrastructures September 2007 futures settled at premium at 806.90 as compared to spot closing of Rs 802.50.

Reliance Industries 2007 September futures settled at premium, at 1904.40, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1895

Tata Steel September 2007 futures settled at premium, at 659.45, compared to the spot closing of Rs 657.35.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 53 points or 1.22% at 4,412.30.
