Colgate-Palmolive opens toothbrush production unit in AP

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd announced that it has introduced its toothbrush production unit in Sri City in Andhra Pradesh (AP) which is built in a 25 acres of land. The unit is commissioned in a building of 16000 square meter area with an investment of about Rs. 450 crore in 19 months. The toothbrush production unit has an annual production capacity of 220 million pieces of toothbrushes. Commenting on this, Fabian T Garcia, Chief Operating Officer, Global Innovation and Growth, Europe/South Pacific said, “Colgate Palmolive unveiled the plaque and signaled the start of commercial production at the Sri City facility established on a 25-acre site.” Garcia said, “For the past eight decades Colgate has been serving India with its high quality oral care products.
