Nifty February 2012 futures near spot price

Turnover surges

Nifty February 2012 futures were at 5273.30, near spot closing of 5269.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 120750.68 crore from Rs 96831.61 crore on Wednesday, 1 February 2012.

State Bank of India (SBI) February 2012 futures were at 2050.05, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2065.05.



Bharti Airtel February 2012 futures were at 387.80, near spot closing of 384.70.

ICICI Bank February 2012 futures were at 902.50, near spot closing of 901.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty gained 34.20 points, or 0.65% to settle at 5,269.90, its highest closing level since 8 November 2011.

The near-month February 2012 derivatives contracts expire on 23 February 2012.
