Turnover surges

RIL March 2011 futures at premium

Nifty March 2011 futures were at 5,532, near spot closing of 5,531. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 108981 crore from Rs 90894.24 crore on Tuesday, 8 March 2011.



Reliance Industries (RIL) March 2011 futures were at premium at 1,000, compared with spot closing of 993.

Reliance Communications March 2011 futures were at premium at 99.80, compared with spot closing of 99.20.

ICICI Bank March 2011 futures were at a slight premium at 1,032.50, compared with spot closing of 1,031.05.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 10.20 points or 0.18% to settle at 5,531.
