Nifty January 2011 futures above 5,800

Turnover declines

Nifty January 2011 futures were at 5,808.20, at a premium of 54.10 points over spot closing of 5,754.10. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 161210.80 crore from Rs 172712.55 crore on Monday, 10 January 2011.



State Bank of India January 2011 futures were at premium at 2628.90 compared with spot closing of 2,623.70.

Tata Motors January 2011 futures were at premium at 1,177.90 compared with spot closing of 1,176.20.

Tata Steel January 2011 futures were at premium at 652 compared with spot closing of 651.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty fell 8.75 points or 0.15% to settle at 5,754.10.
