Nifty October 2010 futures at premium

Turnover declines

Nifty October 2010 futures were at 6,108.10, at a premium of 26.10 points over spot closing of 6,082. Nifty November 2010 futures were at 6,138.25, at a premium of 56.25 points over spot closing of 6,082.



Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 1,44,403.84 crore from Rs 1,60,796.44 crore on Monday, 25 October 2010. The near-month October 2010 derivatives contracts expire on Thursday, 28 October 2010.

Tata Steel October 2010 futures were at premium at 609.30 compared to the spot closing of 605.95.

Reliance Capital October 2010 futures were at premium at 856.70 compared to the spot closing of 855.35.

Dena Bank October 2010 futures were at a slight premium at 138.40 compared to the spot closing of 137.80.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty fell 23.80 points or 0.39% at 6,082.
