Nifty October 2010 futures at premium

Turnover surges

Nifty October 2010 futures were at 6,137.15, at a premium of 31.35 points over spot closing of 6,105.80. Nifty November 2010 futures were at 6,165, at a premium of 59.20 points over spot closing of 6,105.80.



Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 1,60,796.44 crore from Rs 1,40,650.01 crore on Friday, 22 October 2010 as traders rolled over positions from the near-month October 2010 series to November 2010 series ahead of the expiry of the October 2010 contracts on Thursday, 28 October 2010.

BEML October 2010 futures were at premium at 1137.65 compared to the spot closing of 1130.

State Bank of India October 2010 futures were at premium at 3248 compared to the spot closing of 3241.

Tata Motors October 2010 futures were at premium at 1188.90 compared to the spot closing of 1182.25.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 39.75 points or 0.66% at 6,105.80.
