Nifty July 2010 futures above 5,300

Turnover rises

Nifty July 2010 futures were at 5,305.10, at a premium of 8.25 points compared to spot closing of 5,296.85. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 71,606.89 crore from Rs 69,053.31 crore on Monday, 5 July 2010.



Hindustan Petroleum Corporation July 2010 futures were at premium at 481.85 compared to the spot closing of 478.55.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation July 2010 futures were at premium at 703.75 compared to the spot closing of 701.15.

Tata Steel July 2010 futures were at discount at 476.60 compared to the spot closing of 484.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 55.75 points or 1.06% at 5,296.85.
