Nifty December futures at premium

Turnover in F&O segment rises

Derivative contracts for November 2007 series expired today, 29 November 2007. The Nifty December 2007 futures were at 5641 at premium of 6.4 points as compared to spot closing of 5634.60.

The NSE futures & options (F&O) segment turnover was Rs 98,225.56 crore, which was higher than Rs 86,287.52 crore on Wednesday, 28 November 2007.

Reliance Energy December 2007 futures were at premium, at 1690, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1662.50.

State Bank of India December 2007 futures were at premium, at 2295, compared to the spot closing of Rs 2267.90.

Larsen & Toubro December 2007 futures were at premium, at 4149, compared to the spot closing of Rs 4087.95.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty gained 17.05 points or 0.30% at 5,634.60.
