Settle at premium

The Nifty September 2007 futures settled at 4542, a discount of 4.20 points as compared to spot closing of 4,546.20

The NSE F&O turnover was Rs 45069.25 crore as compared to Rs 35768.53 crore on Monday, 17 September 2007

The cumulative FII position as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on 17 September 2007 was 35.01%.

Reliance Capital September 2007 futures settled at premium, at 1451.90, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1444. It was the most active contract with turnover of Rs 3191.35 crore.

Reliance Industries September 2007 futures settled at premium, at 2062, compared to the spot closing of Rs 2053.

SBI September 2007 futures settled at premium, at 1702, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1692.

However ICICI Bank September 2007 futures settled at discount, at 922.60, compared to the spot closing of Rs 923.90.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 51.55 points or 1.15% at 4,546.20.
