Non-banking financial company Shriram City Union Finance spurted 4.81% to Rs 1232. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Power generation firm Jaiprakash Power Ventures climbed 4.68% to Rs 15.44. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Energy and environment solutions provider Thermax rose 4.41% to Rs 748.05. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
