Nifty February 2014 futures above 6100

Turnover surges

Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6131.25, near spot closing of 6127.10. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 167792.30 crore from Rs 125640.93 crore on Monday, 17 February 2014.

State Bank of India February 2014 futures were at 1497.80, near spot closing of 1497.30.

Aurobindo Pharma February 2014 futures were at 502, near spot closing of 500.10.

ICICI Bank February 2014 futures were at 1035, near spot closing of 1034.90.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 53.80 points or 0.89% to settle at 6,127.10, its highest closing level since 27 January 2014.

The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014.
