Nifty February 2011 futures below 5,300

Turnover surges

Nifty February 2011 futures were at 5,282.05, at a premium of 28.50 points over spot closing of 5,253.55. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 145899.99 crore from Rs 111917.74 crore on Tuesday, 8 February 2011.



State Bank of India February 2011 futures were at premium at 2,591.05 compared with spot closing of 2,583.80.

Tata Steel February 2011 futures were at premium at 603.20 compared with spot closing of 600.50.

Tata Motors February 2011 futures were near spot price at 1,083 compared with spot closing of 1,082.30.

In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty lost 59 points or 1.11% to settle at 5,253.55.
